Lynette Oost

Lynette Oost obtained her BSc degree Applied Science in Eindhoven. Her BSc thesis focused on the storage and breakdown of fatty acids and was carried out in the Nutrition, Metabolism and Genomics group at the University of Wageningen.  Her MSc in Biomedical Science was fulfilled by a final internship at the Venetian Institute of Molecular Medicine in Italy. In Italy, she investigated the role of the myokine FGF21 on maintaining muscle mass and strength during the catabolic condition starvation. Her PhD project is to assess the role of ARL15 on the development of Type 2 Diabetes.
